2D Helmholtz Coil
A typical uniaxial Helmholtz coil is composed of two coils with the same number of coil turns, the same coil winding method, and the coil radius is equal to the coil spacing. Helmholtz coils are generally used to generate a magnetic field with a relatively large specified volume and high uniformity, but a relatively weak magnetic field value. Users can use this magnetic field to complete various experiments. Helmholtz coils can generate static DC or AC magnetic fields depending on the application. Its main uses are: the cancellation of the earth's magnetic field, the determination of the magnetic shielding effect, the magnetic susceptibility of electronic equipment, the calibration of fluxgate meters and navigation equipment, the research of biological magnetic fields, and the use of fluxmeters to detect the characteristics of permanent magnets. It is suitable for various research institutes, colleges and enterprises to do material magnetic or detection experiments, and is used in materials, electronics, biology, medical treatment, aerospace and other fields.
