Multiple provinces and cities deploy laboratory construction tasks for 2024, accelerating laboratory system reform

Laboratories are the main platform for technological innovation and an important carrier for industrial incubation. The construction of laboratories plays an important role in improving technological innovation capabilities, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, and promoting high-quality economic development. In recent years, China has accelerated the implementation of the innovation driven development strategy, launched a new round of national major innovation layout, and reformed the key laboratory system. The restructuring of key laboratories across the country is accelerating, and more and more new laboratories are being approved for construction.

Recently, various provinces and cities across the country have successively released government work reports for 2024, summarizing the work content for 2023 and deploying key tasks for 2024. The construction of laboratories, as an important component of scientific and technological innovation work, has been explicitly mentioned in many government work reports. Each province and city summarized the achievements of regional laboratory construction in the past year and also proposed laboratory construction goals for 2024.
