Main types of magnetic fields

The constant magnetic field is also known as the static magnetic field, while the alternating magnetic field, the pulsating magnetic field and the pulsed magnetic field belong to the dynamic magnetic field. If the magnetic field strength is equal or approximately equal everywhere in the space of the magnetic field, it is called a uniform magnetic field, otherwise it is called a non-uniform magnetic field. The further away from the pole surface, the weaker the magnetic field and the gradient of the magnetic field strength.

1. Constant magnetic field A magnetic field whose strength and direction remain unchanged is called a constant magnetic field or a constant magnetic field, such as the magnetic field generated by a ferromagnetic sheet and an electromagnet powered by direct current.

2. Alternating magnetic field The magnetic field strength and direction of the alternating magnetic field change regularly, such as the magnetic field generated by the power frequency magnetic therapy machine and the heteropolar rotating magnetic therapy device.

3. The pulsating magnetic field is a magnetic field in which the strength of the magnetic field changes regularly but the direction of the magnetic field does not change, such as the magnetic field generated by the like-pole rotating magnetic therapy device and the pulsating DC electromagnet.

4. The pulsed magnetic field uses an intermittent oscillator to generate intermittent pulsed current, which can be passed into the coil of the electromagnet to generate pulsed magnetic fields of various shapes. The characteristic of the pulsed magnetic field is that the magnetic field appears intermittently, and the changing frequency, waveform and peak value of the magnetic field can be adjusted according to the needs.
