Magnetic Materials and Devices

Magnetism is one of the most fundamental properties of matter. Substances existing in nature can be divided into paramagnetic substances, magnetic substances, ferromagnetic substances, antiferromagnetic substances, and ferrimagnetic substances according to their magnetic properties. Among them, ferromagnetic substances and ferrimagnetic substances belong to ferromagnetic substances, and the general magnetic materials refer to these two categories.

Magnetic materials can be divided into two categories: metal magnetic materials and ferrite magnetic materials. According to its magnetic properties and applications, it can be divided into soft magnetic, permanent magnet, magnetic recording, moment magnetic, gyromagnetic, piezoelectric, magneto-optical and other materials.

Magnetic devices are components that convert, transfer, store energy and information using the magnetic properties of magnetic materials and various special effects.
