Magnetic field strength
The definition of the magnetic field strength is: the magnetic field strength H at a certain point in the medium is equal to the ratio of the magnetic induction strength B at the point to the absolute permeability uu0 of the medium, namely
H=B/uu0
In the formula, u is the magnetic permeability of the medium. In vacuum u=1, so, H=B/u0.
According to the formula, the magnetic field strength near the long DC current-carrying wire can be obtained
H long straight wire = 1/2π*1/r.
The strength of the magnetic field at the center of the long solenoid is
H solenoid=NL/I=nL
