Design Considerations for Cooling Technology of University Magnetic Field Electromagnets

    The magnetic field electromagnets used in universities are generally required for university experiments and subject projects, and the requirements are relatively special and strict.

1. The design of the ampere-turns of the magnetic field electromagnet is reasonable, especially after the current is set, the selection of the wire diameter is very important.

2. The optimized design of the magnetic circuit can improve the electromagnetic efficiency and appropriately reduce the power consumption.

3. The selection of the yoke material determines the magnetic efficiency, the length of the magnetic circuit and the weight of the magnetic field.

4. The material of the pole head should be made of high BS material as much as possible, which can improve the highest magnetic induction intensity of the magnetic field of the magnetic field electromagnet.

5. Appropriate contraction of the pole surface can enhance the magnetic induction.

6. The current density should be controlled between 3-6 as far as possible, and water cooling can be ignored if it is below 3.

7. The current density is greater than 3 and less than 6, and can be cooled by an external cooling water circuit structure.

8. When the current density is greater than 6, the internal cooling water cooling structure should be adopted.
